Piggybacking on Ajay Devgn?

Now this seems to be the case of counting chickens before the eggs hatch. And it not only has us but apparently even Ajay Devgn stumped.

If rumours are to be believed, Rajkumar Santoshi apparently accepted Rs 6 crore from a production house (that also runs a theatre chain) for a film, allegedly promising to have Ajay Devgn come on board as the lead actor. But sources from Devgn's camp say he has no clue about the development.

An insider says, "Around four months back, Santoshi approached the production house to fund his project, saying he would sign Devgn for it. But apparently he has not approached the actor even once." Sources close to Ajay say he has not been approached till date, while Santoshi remained unavailable for comment.
