RTO officials do not allow Road, Movie producers to use modified truck for promotional activities

Road Transport Office (RTO) officials put Road, Movie's producers Indian Films through a tough time recently. The film has Abhay Deol driving a truck through Rajasthan and the makers thought it would be a great idea to showcase the 55-year-old antique modified truck during the promotional events. However, RTO officials did not allow the truck to even enter Mumbai, claiming that it is more than 20 years old and cannot be allowed on the city's streets.

After much discussion, the officials allowed the truck to be towed to Film City in Goregaon, but for an astronomical amount. Fed up, the makers dropped the idea to use the truck in their marketing plans. The truck is now stationed in a Naigaon resort as it cannot enter Mumbai.
