Although she is all set to star in Vikram Bhatt's upcoming horror film

Although she is all set to star in Vikram Bhatt's upcoming horror film, Shweta Bharadwaj hardly looks like a horror. We wonder how she'll manage to scare us with her flawless skin and lustrous hair. She shares her beauty and hair regime with CS:

Let the sun shine

Since I'm prone to heat strokes and my skin tends to breakout in the sun very fast, I prefer to stick to a diet that keeps my system cool. Cucumber, watermelon, coconut water certainly help, as does drinking tons of water throughout the day. Since I can't avoid being out of the sun, I take care to prevent my skin from getting tanned. I apply sunscreen generously before getting out and scrub my face with besan, curd, limejuice and almond oil when I can. I keep my hair covered with a scarf as it keeps the dirt away, while protecting it from the harmful rays of the sun. And I make sure I pop a few almonds, as they are good for skin and hair. I also keep my hair clean always.

Nature's call

I believe in staying away from artificial treatments. When somebody is going through a bad skin phase, they want to believe in everything that promises to deliver quick results. But that doesn't always work. Going natural is the best way. My skin regime is very simple. I wash my face with a Neem based facewash twice a day. In the mornings, I apply tomato extract, and in the evenings, cucumber juice. It works wonders as a detox agent! And I apply a moisturiser every time I wash my face. I go to the spa regularly for body massages, scrubs, exfoliations, wraps etc, to pamper my whole body. When your body is satisfied, it shows on your face.

Right hair waiting

I make sure I get an oil massages done at least twice a week for my hair and also visit some natural hair spas. They keep the scalp healthy and protect it from dirt and the sun. Also, since I have naturally curly hair, I have to use a lot of products to keep it under control. I make my own conditioner by mixing a hair spa, power dose, conditioners and an instant repair formula.
