When contacted, Gupta laughs mysteriously, "We all have been going through recession and White Feather is no exception. About the film you mentioned, all I'll say on record is that Munir Khan is my neighbour and I've been observing him for a long time now." Clearing the air?
Says a source, "Munir Khan was a regular at all the social functions at Gupta's bungalows including the maata ki chowkis and parties with his wife and two sons. In fact, he wanted Sanjay to launch his elder son as a hero. When Gupta said he didn't do newcomer launches, Munir started his own production inspired by Sanjay Gupta's White Feathers. He called it White Horse Films."
Continues the source, "Gupta doesn't believe Munir to be a fraud. He believes this Khan actually has the healing touch. And besides, reasons Gupta, how can anyone con sick people for five years?u00a0 Most of Munir's medicines are sold on the internet and to desperately ill people abroad. Sanjay feels there has to be some kind ofu00a0 truth to Munir Khan's healing touch. That's the core he wants to touch through his film."
