Sonakshi Sinha's loss has turned into Asin's gain

The actress has been cast as the sister of underworld don Uday Shetty, played by Nana Patekar.

Our source says, "Sona has multiple films in her hands and although she was keen to do the film, she could not adjust her dates. The film is a multi-starrer, so adjusting everyone's dates was a hassle. However Asin has now been finalised and she has signed the film on Sunday night."

Bazmee confirms and says, "I always had Sonakshi and Asin in my mind for the role. Sonakshi was very keen to do the film and even tried to adjust her dates but there was no clarity. Asin was my next choice as the character is also that of a south Indian girl."
