Fake Facebook account has Sonal Chauhan fuming over b'day greetings

Sonal Chauhan had a harrowing time yesterday. The Jannat actress was flooded with birthday greetings when her birthdate is actually May 16.

Says the newbie, "When I received the first SMS, I thought the person had sent it by mistake. But then there were more and more. It was pretty stressful trying to explain to them that it was not my special day."

Only later did the actress realise that February 4 was the date given on her fake Facebook ID account.

She says, "I am not on Facebook but someone has created a fake ID on my name and put my birth date as February 4, 1965! That makes me 44 years old. I look really, really young even at 44!"

The actress continues, "Jokes apart, it has been the most annoying day for me, Telling everyone that it is not my birth date and year. And to make matters worse, several film folk, assuming that it is me on the Facebook have become my 'friends'!"

She was spared the birthday greetings by her family and close pals. "Obviously, they know the correct date!"
To make matters worse, the actress is presently in Bangalore, "so my folks and friends in Mumbai were surprised by all this. I am not even thinking what all happened at home."

Sonal is aware that there are several fake IDs of film folk on Facebook as well as of hers. "But I did not realise how agonising this account will be for me."

After Jannat, she shot for a Telegu film and is under a contract with Vishesh Films for two more projects.
