Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is a confused man. After curbing the stars of Anjaana Anjaani from tweeting about the film, he has now banned cell phones from the set and locations.
Chaos broke out on Thursday after stills from Anjaana Anjaani made an appearance on the net, then on television and finally in newspapers the next morning. All stills seemed like they were taken by a professional photographer. Just back from a vacation inu00a0 Europe,u00a0 Nadiadwala has been interrogating lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, cinematographer Ravi Chandran and even director Siddharth Anand and his wife Mamta. "I was horrified at seeing the pictures. These were not paparazzi pictures, neither did they seem like they were clicked by a fan on location. These are professionally taken photos by someone who had access to our unit. They've been leaked to kill the impact of the elaborate marketing that we had planned," he said.
Possible suspects: Mamta Anand, since she was in some of the published stills, Ravi Chandran, since the pictures seem professionally shot, and choreographer Ahmed Khan, who had been spotted taking a few pictures on location.
"Someone is trying to sabotage my film. This leak happened in Las Vegas when I wasn't there. Now I have my assistants monitoring all movement on set," said the harrowed producer.
