So my favourite past-time will have to be theatre. I still remember the standing ovation I got for my first play. It was a feeling of elation coupled with a sense of d ufffdj vu. I just knew then that I was on the right path.
Even though I've done films and TV series since, theatre continues to be my first love. That's mainly because there are no tricks in theatre. You can't rely on some of the camouflages that are characteristic of films.

You have to create the magic yourself. I have acted in two Rehaan Engineer plays in Mumbai. In fact, it was Alyque Padamsee who sponsored me and my visa to Mumbai from Australia.
I was supposed to star in his play, but that play didn't work out. I'm a big supporter of the Prithvi theatre and you'll often find me there. I try to catch whatever plays I can in Mumbai.

I just can't have enough of the stage.
