Nawazuddin Siddiqui may be now firmly entrenched in Bollywood and made Mumbai his home but his suit woes continue

Before leaving for Cannes, the actor stated that he would step onto the red carpet in the same outfit he wore last year to the festival.u00a0

The actor loves to gloat about his paucity of suits for formal events and how he wears the same suit everywhere. However the pictures say another story. Nawaz almost suggested that he has nothing in his wardrobe.

When the actor attended the Indian film festival in Stuttgart last July where Mangesh Hadawale's Dekh Indian Circus was the opening fare, he had also stated that he had no choice but to wear the same suit he wore at Cannes. He had stated, "I have been shooting and have no time to pay attention to my wardrobe."

Just before he left for Cannes last year, the actor had approached some designers to style him for the red carpet. But no designer was apparently keen to do it. Eventually Nawazuddin bought fabric himself and gave it to a local tailor.

Since these pictures show him donning suits of different shades, do we safely conclude that he has borrowed or hired them? Or was his statement just for effect?u00a0
