Paris of all places! Who'd have thought? And yet, it's hearteningly endearing that director- writer-actor Julie Delpy actually scripts and films the story of the disintegration of a relationship in the most romantic city in the world.
Jack run into several of her exes and finds it particularly odd that she's still in touch with most of them. Add to that, that he doesn't understand too much French, the condoms won't fit and Marion doesn't want to have sex, you can almost see the coup de gru00e2ce coming from a mile away.
The film's a fantastic study of the overratedness of love and relationships. Add to that, it gets rid of quite a few clichu00e9s. Goldberg is okay but this one sparks of Delpy's brilliance.
