Vidhu Vinod Chopra is going full steam ahead with his pre production plans for Broken Horses, his first English film. The executive producer of the project will be none other than Barrie Osborne, who has been associated with winners such as The Matrix, Octopussy, Face/Off and Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. Barrie was in New Zealand for the past 10 years, but has now returned to Los Angeles to work on Broken Horses. He and Vidhu have even set up an office in the city. The other executive producer of the film is Fred Roos. Fred has worked on Lost In Translation and The Godfather Parts 2 and 3. Vidhu has known Fred since the Godfather days and Fred readily agreed to be a part of Broken Horses. A grand set is being erected in Mexico where shooting will begin from September.
