"We are developing and producing digital content that is unique; the kind that makes you come back for more. We will welcome anyone with a great story to share it with us," says Kapur. That his team has worked towards understanding the viewing habits of audiences across demographics and geographies, will help them arrive at a better decision while selecting scripts.

As part of the multi-year deal, Kapur's Roy Kapur Films (RKF) will deliver exclusive long and short content that will be sold as 'Jio Originals', for 140 million subscribers across India. A source adds, "Creative artistes can approach us with any ideas. It doesn't matter if they are fiction, non-fiction, or even chat or travel-based shows. There are also master-classes with top filmmakers and actors from across the globe being planned. They will be unveiled soon."

Kapur concludes, "Our search for the right kind of content is not limited by filters on genre, regional taste or preference. We are looking for stories that are unique, entertaining, engaging; those that will make you sit up at night and watch 'just one more episode.'" The submissions can be made to his office.
