Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is not the one to follow numerology. But for his newly produced venture Three - Love, Lies and Betrayal, he is relying heavily on the number 3.
Not only is his new film called Three, it is releasing on September 3 (a Thursday) and the first show will not be in the morning but at 3 pm in the afternoon, making the film a 3-3-3 affair.
I wanna tryProducer Vikram admits that his 3-3-3 obsession has to do numerology, "It is just an astrological funda. I have never tried my hand at such kinds of things before and didn't even believe it till this movie. But I want to try it this time around and I hope it works.
If this doesn't work I will try something like 4-4-4 the next time (laughs). But on a serious note, I am very confident about the film. The debutant director Vishal Pandya has done a fantastic job. I am sure the audiences will like it."
About the unusual title choice Vikram says, "The title came from the tag line of the film which goes - Into their house, they let in a strangeru2026 Two lived in happiness, now Three live in danger! I felt the title was apt for a film like this and that's why we went for it."
When asked if Three is a remake of Bhatt's own directed film Fareb (1996) which was a copy of English film The Unlawful Entry (1992), Vikram says, "No it's not a remake of Fareb or any other film. There is no point lying because everyone will anyway see the film next week."u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0
