What a coincidence! Shahid's Batti Gul... releases on Kareena's birthday

Shahid Kapoor's next project Batti Gul Meter Chalu, directed by Shree Narayan Singh will release on September 21. In many of his interviews, Kapoor has claimed that Batti Gul Meter Chalu is a very special film for him.

Yesterday, the actor shared the film's posters and wrote, "It's current! It's light! It's shocking (sic)." He is also looking forward to the date as he has high hopes from the film, which deals with electricity theft.

If you know, 21st September is Shahid Kapoor's ex, Kareena Kapoor Khan's birthday too. The industry will be celebrating Bebo's big day and Sasha's new release on the same day. Talk of strange coincidences.
