Recently, there was news that Deepika Padukone was charging over Rs 12 crore for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati.
This was the highest that any Bollywood heroine had ever charged for a film. Now that Padmavati has run into trouble with its lead hero, Ranveer Singh, being shown the door, speculations abound about the period drama. There is buzz about which studio will fund the project.
