It is believed he would ride an Amateur Riders Club (ARC) horse called Wild Rose with five other competing jockeys for the Veer Trophy, which, expectedly Salman would win.

Like several other ARC racehorses, the Wild Rose is a retired racehorse. Says Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) chairman Vivek Jain: "Salman would ride Wild Rose as of now.

He seemed comfortable on the horse. It is an even-tempered horse... we don't want the horse playing up or bolting or throwing off Salman."
