With megastar Amitabh Bachchan no more the face of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), Akshay Kumar, the Tourism Ambassador of Canada, will promote the event, which is touted as the "Oscars of Bollywood".

IIFA awards will be held in Toronto this year.
"Akshay has a huge fan following there. As far as being the IIFA brand ambassador is concerned, nothing has been finalised yet," said a source close to the actor.
