Surreal is Akshay Oberoi's word of choice, when asked to describe the experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan in King. The actor, who shot a small portion of the action thriller earlier this year, will head back to the set of Siddharth Anand's directorial venture next week. "Every time I walk onto the sets of King and see Shah Rukh sir, it feels surreal. I have grown up watching and admiring him, and now to be sharing scenes with him is something I won't take for granted," shared Oberoi.
The Christmas release also stars Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, and Suhana Khan.
King isn't Oberoi's only release of 2026. He has also shot for Yash's Toxic, and a yet-untitled thriller with Manoj Bajpayee. He beamed, "It's crazy to think that I am working with Shah Rukh sir and Manoj in the same year. They are so different in their craft, and are true masters of what they do."
