At a media gathering, the director stated that it was no mean task to work out a script for Big B's debut fiction show on TV.

States the filmmaker, "We have been working on it for nearly six months now. I had many sittings with Amitji to discuss the project. The one thing I realised soon that he is a very demanding actor, but of course in a good way. During all our meetings, he asked me a thousand questions. You cannot dare to sit in front of him without doing your proper research. He has vast knowledge and is always ready to know more about topics that he is not familiar with."

Big B retorted by saying how Anurag didn't have enough time on hand initially to work something out that both could be a part of. "Even now I had to literally pull his pallu in order to start our show finally."u00a0
