Shooting for eighth season of popular US show gets stalled for 10 days
Anil Kapoor, who's part of the eighth season of popular US show, 24, was concerned on hearing that the show's star Kiefer Sutherland was to undergo a major surgery. Anil and Kiefer bondedu00a0 during the making of the show.
According reports, Sutherland will undergo elective surgery to deal with a ruptured cyst near one of his kidneys.
Halted
Due to his impending surgery, the filming of the show has been halted for 10 days. The producers of the show sent everyone including Anil an email informing them about the temporary halt in shooting.
A source says, "Anil had heard that Kiefer wasn't keeping well. Reports from the 24 sets was that actor had a severe stomach ache. It was only after Anil received the mail from the producers did he realise it was something serious."
Anil confirms from the UK, "I read about Kiefer being unwell but I haven't called him as yet. I am in London for the BAFTA awards."
