Bollywood couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have often kept their lives away from the public eye for some time now. Residing in London, the couple have rarely made public appearances in recent times. However, on Sunday, the couple was seen soaking in devotional music as American musician and vocalist Krishna Das performed live kirtan in Mumbai. The two were seen attending the kirtan evening and seemed to be fully immersed in the devotional tunes. Videos and photos of the two at the concert have been doing the rounds on social media.
In one of the videos, Anushka is seen enthusiastically clapping and singing along to the chants, fully immersed in the spiritual evening as the devotional singer performs on stage. On the other hand, Virat, who sat beside her, briefly glanced at the camera before turning his attention back to the chants and joining in the devotional atmosphere with closed eyes.
Notably, the concert was part of Krishna Das' recent India tour. In other videos, Virat and Anushka are seen arriving at the Gateway of India before heading to the devotional evening.
Interestingly, this is not the first time Anushka and Virat have attended a Krishna Das kirtan. The two had earlier attended a service at Union Chapel in London back in July 2026. They have often been seen attending similar spiritual events in India and abroad. Anushka Sharma was also spotted with Krishna Das in July, when they were seen enjoying a satvik meal together in London.
The celebrity couple are well-known for their reverence towards Neem Karoli Baba. They are also regularly seen visiting spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan.
Talking of Krishna Das, the American vocalist travelled to India in 1970. During his visit, he became a close disciple and devotee of Neem Karoli Baba. He spent several years in India, especially at Neem Karoli Baba's ashrams, including the revered Kainchi Dham in the hills of Uttarakhand.
Interestingly, two of Krishna Das' devotional chants, namely Sita Ram and Om Namah Shivaya, were also used in the film, Hanuman Ansh.
