Present at the Christmas Eve function was Bollywood actress Gul Panag, who stars as the successful Naina, an advertising professional and single woman in the film.

Gul cut the ribbon to declare the store open in the presence of director Alankrita Srivastav; for Asmi jewellery is all about celebrating the success of today's modern Indian womanu00a0-- feminine, spirited, and one who has achieved social independence and won respect on the basis of her own independent skills and strengths. Asmi is associated with Gul's forthcoming Hindi film Turning 30.
This is Asmi's eighth flagship store in India and the first in Mumbai. The showroom is spread across 600 sq ft and showcases a wide range of branded Asmi jewellery for the new Indian woman who has emerged as a woman of spirit. Asmi, one of the leading diamond jewellery brands is owned by the Gitanjali Group.
