We all know Smita Bansal as a loving mother and mother-in-law in her daily serial. But the lady is an equally doting mother to her six-year-old daughter Stasha in real life. She tells CS about the five ways in which she loves to spend time with her little one:
Movie magic
Bedtime story
I sometimes read out stories to her before she goes to sleep or is in a mood to listen to a story. It helps in inculcating the reading habit. Kids need to read and write much more in this computer age. I try to make the story sessions more interesting by changing my expressions and modulating my voice.
Beach bums
Both of us love to play on the beach. Luckily, we live in Juhu, and the beach is close by. Sometimes, Stasha goes horse-riding, while I sit down and enjoy bhutta. Going to the beach is always an exciting affair.u00a0
Study time
I sit down with her study books on weekends. As for the rest of the week, I am extremely tied up. But with the immense help of a supporting family, her studies are well taken care of.
Trip to Lonavala
Stasha and I often head to Lonavala, which happens to be our favourite holiday spot.u00a0 Such small getaways help a lot to de-stress and unwind from our mundane schedules. Also the time spent is a qualitative one, as work in some or the other form does hinder the time spent at home.
