12 pm: Press Conference. Overwhelmed by the warmth and affection of the media in Jaipur, much to the chargin of the coordinator who allots each 3 minutes, I give in to emotional blackmail !!
2 pm: Back to the hotel for a quick touch- up and a drink of water...
3.15 pm: Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Jaipur - 300 Krishnas and 2,000 Babbans.... felt like I was back at St Anthony's Girls' High School with OLPS Boys' School on the other side of the wall!!
6 pm: While Leheriya, Bandej and Gota sarees vie for my attention, what really gets me is a board across the street which reads: "Piles to Smiles"... haven't read anything as funny in a long time!
8.30 pm: Driven for an hour and a half to Kishengarh (marble haven) for a rally, where they get me to cut an Amazon of a cake to celebrate the success of Ishqiya. Touched
10.30 pm: Shubha Mudgal calls it a night with "Raat ke pehredaar ki seeti, saath hawa ke ser ko nikali, jagte rehna jagte rehna, raston se awaazen guzari..."
