Dhurandhar 2
Amid much anticipation, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has finally hit the screens. After months of buzz and theories, the fans finally have answers to the questions left by the first part. While rumours of a potential part 3 had been prevalent for a long time, Aditya Dhar's post a day ahead of release further intensified the possibility as the director asked fans not to leave their seats. Now, with the Ranveer Singh-starrer having arrived, what does the ending say about Dhurandhar 3?
After the climax scene, the title slate shows up. However, after that, there are two end-credits scenes. One is a montage that runs along with the credits that shows Jaskirat Singh Rangi's training to become a spy after he was rescued from the gallows by Ajit Sanyal (R Madhavan) and his team. The credits start rolling after this.
The film also has a second post-credits scene wherein General Shahnawaz (Raj Zutshi), the Pakistani general who is arm-twisted by Sanyal to release Hamza, loses it in front of his men. It is a brief 30-second scene that seems to have been added as a fun throwaway; however, it adds little or nothing to the story.
Neither of the two post-credit scenes hints at the possibility of Dhurandhar 3.
The filmmaker began his note by thanking viewers, "5th December 2025, Dhurandhar released in cinemas worldwide. And since then, you didn't just watch our film. You loved it. You lived it. You appreciated every quiet detail, debated every moment, rewatched it, and noticed things I never even thought anyone would," he wrote.
He added, "Somewhere in that beautiful, unpredictable journey, our film became yours. Then the nation's. And then the world's. That is the most humbling, most moving gift a filmmaker can ever receive. So when we sat down to make Dhurandhar: The Revenge, we knew one thing with absolute certainty - we had to surprise you. We had to make you feel emotions you weren't prepared for. Deeply. Honestly. That is never easy. But for you, we tried our very hardest."
"We've put our hearts into Dhurandhar: The Revenge so you can experience every twist and emotion exactly the way it's meant to be felt - in a theatre, in the dark, surrounded by friends, family, and even strangers, everyone feeling the same emotions. That's how films should be experienced. Not on someone's phone in a blurry image," Dhar shared.
Talking of spoilers, Aditya urged, "Let every single fan walk in clueless but curious and walk out with their own deeply personal version of what they felt. You made Dhurandhar what it is. Now I'm trusting you to protect what this becomes."
Finally, in the caption of the post, he further hinted at a post-credit scene, writing, "Oh, and one more thing. Don't leave your seats until the credits have stopped rolling."
