Dhurandhar 2 to release in India on OTT 20 days after global premiere; here's why

After a historic run at the box office, India's biggest blockbuster, Dhurandhar 2, is now all set for its next massive moment. Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set to make its streaming debut through a grand digital premiere. What's more interesting is that fans will be able to experience the raw and uncut version of the movie for the first time in India since the theatrical version featured significant changes. While film has already hit the OTT screens globally, viewers in India will have to wait for 20 more days to get their hands on the Ranveer Singh-starrer.

Dhurandhar 2 global OTT release date

For audiences abroad, Dhurandhar 2 is set to stream on Netflix from May 14-15, 2026, based on regional time zones. Internationally, the film is being screened as Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Raw & Undekha) or Raw & Unseen, hinting at the uncut version.

Ahead of the film's premiere, viewers will also get access to a specially curated 30-minute pre-show featuring candid cast conversations, behind-the-scenes stories, as well as fun moments and insights into the making of the film.

Dhurandhar 2 to arrive in India 20 days later?

However, while the global audience can enjoy the film May 15 onwards, Indian viewers will have to wait until June 4, 2026, to watch Dhurandhar: The Revenge. This is because, unlike the global release on Netflix, the film's streaming rights in India have been acquired by JioHotstar. The platform is, however, currently streaming the cricket tournament, Indian Premier League (IPL), which concludes on May 31. Hence, the film will be streamed only after IPL is over to ensure maximum viewership.

Sharing the news on social media, JioHotstar's official handle wrote, "Aandhi banke jo aa raha hai usse DHURANDHAR kehte hain. Watch Dhurandhar The Revenge, Raw and Undekha. Grand Digital Premiere on June 4th at 7 PM, starts streaming from June 5th only on JioHotstar."

Dhurandhar 2 is presented by Jio Studios and produced by B62 Studios. Helmed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar The Revenge features Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi and others.
