The actress gifted herself a new car
Her favourite is the Beetle but when it was time for a new car, Dia Mirza settled for the Audi Q7. For Loyalty's Sake: Dia Mirza's new vehicle
Says the actress, "The Beetle is cute, adorable and very feminine. But I am a very practical person and the space factor is of prime concern.

I have to carry loads of baggage around for shoots so a large car is more practical."
Moreover there was also the German factor at work. "I had to show loyalty," she says.
Dia admits that she is not car-crazy. "I don't have a passion for them like many people do.

But I believe that when it comes to such buys, you should go for the best that you can get in your budget."
She did her bit of research about the technicalities before making a decision. "In that sense, I am well aware of all its details."
She describes her vehicle as a peaceful beast. "I had a Landcruiser earlier and that was dominating!"
Dia always wanted a stylish SUV and when she saw the Audi Q7, she fell in love with it and gifted herself one. It costs almost Rs 80 lakh and what the actress really likes is the sunroof. "It's like driving a convertible," she says.
Driving around
Dia knows how to drive "and I have a valid driving license" but at most times it is the chauffeur who is at the wheels.
The actress has preferred staying away from the spotlight of late "and doing my work quietly."
