Still from Welcome To The Jungle
Ahmed Khan's multi-starrer Welcome to the Jungle is creating buzz for all the right reasons. The family entertainer, featuring a mega ensemble cast, is all set to arrive in theatres on June 26. The makers have released two tracks so far - the title track of the movie and Ghis Ghis, which has been winning hearts for its raw Bhojpuri flavour and showcases superstar Akshay Kumar in a never-seen-before avatar.
Adding to the anticipation, director Ahmed Khan has now revealed that the film features five songs. He also appreciated producer Firoz Nadiadwala, calling him "gutsy" for backing the extravagant vision and scale of the film.
Ahmed Khan shared, "This is a dark humour film and has five interesting songs along with elaborate short musical pieces that elevate the overall feel of the film. I must appreciate our producer Firoz (Nadiadwala) bhai for backing this mega vision. He has always been very gutsy and never backed down despite the hurdles, ensuring the film turned out exactly how we envisioned it."
He further added, "The songs are very thoughtfully crafted and choreographed while keeping the humour in mind. Welcome to the Jungle is a complete masala package and I am very proud of this project."
The latest track from the film titled Ghis Ghis sees Akshay Kumar collaborating with Bhojpuri star Akshara Singh. One of the highlights of this song is the chemistry and screen presence of the duo Akshay and Akshara which adds a unique touch to the track.
With grand sets, colorful visuals, festive vibes, and a viral hook step, "Ghis Ghis Ghis" has been created with a mass audience in mind. Known for his cool dance moves, Akshay stuns in his desi and rustic avatar this time with this track.
The makers of 'Welcome To The Jungle' have released the film's highly anticipated official teaser, offering a first look at a large-scale, chaotic comedy built on meta-humour, nostalgia, and slapstick spectacle.
Directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz A Nadiadwallah, the film is set for a global theatrical release on June 26.
Positioned as the third installment in the popular 'Welcome' franchise, following 'Welcome Back,' the teaser introduces a self-aware comedic tone that leans heavily into parody and ensemble-driven chaos.
