So when he approached The Roshans to be a part of his next film (Kites), he told them that the principal shooting of the film would be completed in a little over a month's time.

But given the grandeur of the film with a top star and an international star cast, the time spent on the movie set was bound to rise with a few more days' work."

The source adds, "But as things stand now, the writer-director has shot for more than 125 days. Some scenes and songs are still left to be canned.

It is believed that whenever the unit comes back from shooting anything, there is a special screening held to view the rushes of the canned scenes.

When contacted, Anurag says, "The shooting of the film is on schedule. As a matter of fact, I was allotted 130 days and I'm going to be done with the shoot in 110."
