Looks like Tara Singh is ready to cross borders and box-office records once again. Ameesha Patel has confirmed that Gadar 3 is officially in development after the success of Gadar 2: The Katha Continues (2023). And yes, the iconic duo of Sunny Deol and Ameesha as Tara Singh and Sakeena are all set to return, with filmmaker Anil Sharma and Zee Studios backing the drama-filled spectacle. Spilling the tea on X, Ameesha declared, "Gadar 3 will come for sure," while promising that the film will create absolute "hungama" in theatres. Not stopping there, she confidently added that "R500 crore is just the minimum" for a franchise like Gadar. The actor also teased that this time, "the scale and script will be even bigger and dhamakedar". Translation: expect more flying hand pumps, thunderous dialogues, roaring nationalism, and plenty of whistle-worthy moments. The film is expected to continue the story of Tara Singh and his family.

Melting in the month of May

Soni Razdan on a film set

Mumbai's summer heat is giving even seasoned actors a tough time. Soni Razdan shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse from a shoot that was supposed to feel like winter romance but ended up becoming a full-blown sauna session instead. "This shoot should have taken place at a hill station, but instead it is happening in the hot weather of May in Mumbai," she said, before adding the ultimate survival strategy, "What can you do? Nothing but use a fan." Honestly, relatable behaviour. In her caption, Soni joked that films meant for winter "invariably land up being shot in the hottest month of the year", leaving actors "sweltering and almost literally melting in the heat". Somewhere, a makeup artiste probably cried.
