The shoot for Kartik Aaryan-starrer Naagzilla has officially wrapped up, with the final schedule concluding in Mumbai on July 26. While the cast and crew marked the occasion by cutting a cake, Kartik was absent as he had completed filming his portions earlier this year. Praising the collaboration, producers Mahaveer Jain and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba said, "Dharma Productions is the best company to partner with. We are also thankful to each and every crew member of Naagzilla. Everyone has worked really hard to execute this grand vision." The film is slated for a February 12, 2027 release.
Pankaj Tripathi's upcoming family entertainer âOhh My Dog', which was set to hit theatres on July 31, has been postponed by a week and will now release on August 7. Explaining the delay, filmmaker Amit Rai called it a "very practical decision", saying major releases such as âThe Odyssey', âDhamaal 4', and âSpider-Man: Brand New Day' had occupied most cinema screens. "Even after making such a good film, the reason won't be anything else. The reason will be that we simply won't have the space to occupy screens," he said, adding that the makers hope to find "a little space" once the bigger releases settle.
An honour
Pankaj Tripathi will receive the Artist of Distinction honour at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2026. The National Award-winning actor, who will attend the festival for the first time, said it was "deeply humbling" to be recognised on an international platform. The award will be presented on August 13, the opening day of the festival
Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari has revealed that Ramayana: Part 1 will end on a cliffhanger, setting the stage for its sequel. Speaking after the film's panel at San Diego Comic-Con, also attended by Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and producer Namit Malhotra, Nitesh said the epic story was always envisioned in two parts. "Where we leave in Part 1, it is something which is called a cliffhanger. Something which will make people watch Part 2," he said. The film also stars Sai Pallavi and Sunny Deol.
