Hrithik Roshan didn't show up at the Filmfare awards on Saturday night to collect his Best Actor award for Jodhaa Akbar.
It was a repeat act of what happened at the Stardust awards a week ago! Neither the actor nor anyone from his family came to the venue to collect the award for the most coveted category. Despite being in the city!
Word in the industry is that all's not well at the Roshan household. While there are some whispers about Hrithik's friendship with co-star Barbara Mori being the cause of stress, according to other sources the family has been under the radar becauseu00a0 Hrithik's mom Pinky Roshan is causing concern in the family.
The source close to the family reveals, "Hrithik was slated to attend the awards night with Sussanne, his parents, and Barbara.
Duggu was looking forward to attend the awards night, and had even picked up a designer suit. However, his mom suddenly fell ill and he had to cancel the plans. Since she has a history of heart ailment, the family didn't want to take any chances."
It is believed that she is out of danger and is on her way to a speedy recovery. Confirming this, Rakesh Roshan says, "Yes, she is better now. She's at home and doing fine."
