Gabriel who has starred in Hollywood hits such as Usual Suspects and Little Women, plays a psychiatrist in the television serial, while Irrfan plays his patient. So its just Gabriel, Irrfan and the couch and the Billu actor is finding it really stressful to perform on par with Gabriel.
Irrfan plays a character whose wife has died and so he has come to Gabriel's psychiatrist for therapy. Irrfan has to relive the trauma of his wife's death lying on the couch with no other props or actors.
The absence of other actors has Irrfan bonding with Gabriel off screen too. The two have been discussing Gabriel's critically acclaimed Miller's Crossing, which dealt with gang wars during Prohibition.
