Popular singer Karan Aujla has been in the news for quite some months for several reasons. His recent post claiming he is bisexual has left netizens baffled. The image, which has been widely circulated across social media, triggered debate among fans. While the post raised eyebrows, his team has dismissed it as fake, citing inconsistencies.
The controversy began when a screenshot, allegedly from Karan Aujla's account, went viral across social media platforms. The image featured a brief post reading, "I'm bisexual." This triggered major controversy, with netizens expressing shock.
However, several users also pointed out inconsistencies in the viral image. The username shown in the screenshot does not match the handle typically associated with Karan Aujla. The post also includes spelling errors, which raises doubts about its authenticity.
The claims have since been denied by Aujla's team. On Monday, they clarified that the account seen in the viral screenshot is fake and not connected to the singer in any way.
So far, Karan Aujla has not shared any statement from his verified social media accounts regarding the claim.
Aujla, who enjoys a massive fan following, is currently touring the country with his ongoing P-Pop Culture India Tour, drawing large crowds at multiple venues. The tour, however, has not been without controversy. Aujla made headlines after his March concert in Mumbai faced backlash due to alleged mismanagement. In response to the criticism, the singer returned to the city with a fresh performance on April 12.
A few months back, Aujla was in the news after he was accused of infidelity. Aujla has recently been at the centre of a viral cheating allegation controversy after a Canada-based artiste, Ms. Gori, publicly claimed that she was in a secret relationship with him without knowing he was married to his wife, Palak Aujla. She alleged that Aujla did not disclose his marital status during their involvement and even suggested that his team tried to suppress her side of the story online.
These posts spread rapidly across social media and sparked intense public discussion about responsibility, reputation, and transparency in celebrity relationships.
The controversy also drew reactions from others in the public eye. Actress Parul Gulati released a video defending Karan Aujla, calling the allegations baseless and affirming that he is devoted to his wife, even as she critiqued the accuser's claims. In response, Gori criticised public dismissals of her account, arguing that women are often discouraged from sharing their stories.
