Yash Raj Films unveils Jaadugari, the first original release from Raah Records

A day after announcing the launch of its new music label, Raah Records, Yash Raj Films has unveiled its first original release. Titled Jaadugari, the song introduces singer-songwriter Aman as the label's first artiste and offers a glimpse into Raah Records' vision of supporting original voices in the Indian independent music space.

Jaadugari is a song of regret

Penned, composed and sung by Aman, Jaadugari is an emotional track that explores the lingering pain of losing someone after taking their love for granted. The song centres on the quiet moments that often go unnoticed in a relationship until they become memories, capturing feelings of regret, longing and reflection through a stripped-back melody and heartfelt lyrics.

The music video stars Aman alongside Shivangi Negi and follows a couple as they revisit happier times before gradually drifting apart. Through intimate moments and nostalgic visuals, the video mirrors the song's central theme - that the magic of a relationship is often realised only after it begins to fade. The track is now available across major streaming platforms, with the music video released on YouTube.

New Beginning with Raah Records

Jaadugari also marks the start of Aman's association with Raah Records after spending nearly a year working with the label through its artist incubator programme. The initiative focuses on mentoring emerging musicians by helping them shape their songwriting, sound and creative identity before launching them as independent artistes.

Opening up about the inspiration behind the track, Aman said, "Jaadugari comes from a very honest place. It's about those relationships where you can feel someone slipping away long before it's actually over, but you keep hoping things will somehow go back to how they were. I think we've all experienced moments where we realise too late that it was the little things, the conversations we never had, the appreciation we never expressed and the moments we took for granted, that mattered the most. I hope this song is a reminder to hold on tightly to the people you love and to never take their love for granted."
