Rohit Shettyu00a0casts the actor for film's third outing
It's time for some Golmaal for Kunal Khemu. The actor has been pencilled in for the third coming of Rohit Shetty's comedy. Kunal has been lying low of late and being part of this multi-starrer will put him back on track.
Says a source, "Rohit was keen to rope in one more hero in the film. He was looking at various options when he realised that Kunal had good comic timing after doing films like Dhoodhte Reh Jaaoge and Dhol."
The cast of Golmaal 3 includes Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade. In this male-dominated film, Bebo will be the only female actress.
The film is slated to roll in April and parts will be shot in Goa as the director considers it lucky. Rohit had also shot several portions of Golmaal and Golmaal Returns on the beachfront.
Produced by Ashtavinayak, Golmaal 3 is slated to roll in April. According to the production house's spokesperson, "Talks are on with the actor but nothing has been finalised yet."
Kunal remained unavailable for comment.
Adds the source, "Kunal's recent films like Jai Veeru and 99 proved to be duds, he is looking at Golmaal 3 to be back in the reckoning."
