Aditya Roy Kapur starrer action- thriller Malang grossed R 6.71 crore on its opening day.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the movieu2019s collection.
Despite the lukewarm response, the film, starring Disha Patani and Anil Kapoor, emerged to be Kapuru2019s highest opener. On the second day, business picked up for the film, which settled at R 15.60 crore, as per Adarsh.
Meanwhile, Vidhu Vinod Choprau2019s Shikara earned R 1.20 crore at the box office on the first day of its release, and settled at R 3.05 crore at the close of day two. The film narrates the story of the mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir valley in u2019 90 and the bond between the lead actors in the worst of times. It has largely been shot in the Kashmir Valley.
