Mallika Sherawat and Divya Dutta will both walk the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival, where their film Hissss will premiere. Divya has also refuted rumours that the two of them fought over who would walk the red carpet. Divya also revealed that she would be wearing something sensuous and Indian for the festival.

Hissss tells the story of a snake woman, who decides to take revenge on an American hunter who captures her mate. It was shot in both Hindi and English and is produced by Mallika's brother.

Other Bollywood stars who have attended Cannes for the premiere of their films include Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan for Devdas in 2002 and for Provoked, Mallika for The Myth, Irrfan Khan for The Mighty Heart and Amitabh Bachchan for Cheeni Kum.
