Manish says, "I started with Sridevi, (my favourite actress) with Aadmi Aur Apsara, then worked with for Juhi Chawla in Swarg. But one of the biggest highs of my career came with Urmila's look for Rangeela and Karisma's look in Raja Hindustani.
The '90s has been a very crucial phase of my career and costumes in films." Now the star designer designs for Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kajol, Priyanka Chopra and for Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor for I Hate Luv Storys. Manish adds, "I was the first designer to receive a film award for Rangeela."
