Singer Mika Singh has seemingly added a brand new luxury car to his garage. His nephew and son of legendary singer Daler Mehndi took to social media to share the news of Mika's latest purchase with fans. The singer has purchased a rare Cadillac Escalade SUV, which is reportedly priced at Rs 5 crore.
Gurdeep Mehndi shared pictures and videos of Mika Singh taking delivery of his new Cadillac Escalade, which is one of the most recognisable full-size luxury SUVs sold globally. Mika's latest car is a special one since the Escalade remains a rare sight on Indian roads. In fact, Cadillac does not officially retail vehicles in India and thus only a handful of Escalades have entered the country through private imports over the years.
Talking of Mika Singh's car collection, the singer already owns a heavily customised version of the Hummer H2, a Range Rover Autobiography Limo, a Porsche Panamera, a Lamborghini Gallardo, a Ford Mustang, along with various Mercedes-Benz luxury SUVs and a Toyota Land Cruiser.
As per an NDTV report, the imported Cadillac Escalade recently purchased by Mika boasts an on-road value of around Rs 5 crore, after import duties and registration-related costs are added in. Even though the exact version of the car purchased by Mika Singh has not been officially confirmed, the SUV seemingly belongs to the latest generation of the Escalade lineup, which is currently up for sale in international markets.
Globally, the latest Cadillac Escalade typically comes with a 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 petrol engine producing around 420 Hp and 624 Nm of torque. It gets its power through a 10-speed automatic gearbox. Buyers can also reportedly opt for both rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations based on the market.
The Escalade sits among the most feature-loaded luxury SUVs in the world. Some of its standout features include a massive curved OLED display spanning across the dashboard, premium leather upholstery, multi-zone climate control, massaging seats, advanced driver-assistance systems, and a high-end audio system.
Interestingly, large American SUVs such as the Cadillac Escalade remain rare in India due to their size, fuel consumption and import costs. That is exactly why Mika Singh's latest purchase continues to attract attention whenever one appears on Indian roads.
