I love reading books. Though I am attracted towards fiction, I end up reading more of non-fiction. More often that not, I read two books simultaneously. The Winner Stands Alone by Paulo Coelho and Two States: The Story of My Marriage by Chetan Bhagat are the two books I am currently reading.
As a child, my dad always wanted me to take up reading as a hobby and so he set up a library of 300 books for me. I didn't enjoy reading at all at that time. But when I moved to Mumbai, I was alone and this is when I developed a liking for reading, basically to kill my loneliness. Now I am so fond of it that I read two books at a time. Reading also helps me in my acting. I believe that in life it is not always possible to live every experience, so when I read books I try and connect to certain character and then as the story advances I live that character in my brain.
