Souryansh

Upcoming film Mmirsa, based on the Mirza-Sahiban tragic love saga, is set to mark the debut of Souryansh. The Gurgaon-based boy plays the lead character of Sunny, a reincarnation of Mirza. Before taking up acting, he used to run his own business which he established following his father's sudden demise; Souryansh was 18 then. He was trained at the acting academy of Surendra Sharma from National School of Drama.

He happened to meet director Hemant Praddeep, who was looking for new talent to be cast in Mmirsa. Souryansh auditioned and was selected for the lead role. The film is being made under the banner of Mridul Films Pvt Ltd in association with Maaltee Films Entertainment, and produced by Mayank Bhardwaj and Latika Singh.

The film was completed on a start-to-finish 45-day schedule in locations of Punjab, Kullu, Manali and Mumbai. Souryansh got the opportunity to work with choreographer Remo D'souza and music directors Meet Bros Anjjan. He has been paired opposite a newcomer, Saanvi. He also got veterans like Kabir Bedi, Ranjeet, Farida Jalal, Ravi Kishan, Deepshikha and Amit Behl as co-stars. The film will soon be released worldwide by Israr Ahmed of Screenshot Media and Entertainment Group.
