The story goes that Sonam and Shahid were supposed to attend workshops at Pankaj's office for Mausam, but Sonam would always be late. In order to teach her the importance of punctuality, Pankaj repeatedly cancelled the classes. The first time, Sonam reached 40 minutes late only to learn that the workshop had been cancelled. Sonam immediately got the message. The second time she was punctual and the classes were conducted as scheduled. However, the third day, she was running 20 minutes late and was just reaching her destination when she was told classes have been cancelled again.

Mausam has Shahid playing a depressed man. In fact, he has even stopped his daily workouts so he can lose the muscular look before shooting begins.
