Veteran actor Paresh Rawal recently revealed how consuming his own urine for 15 days helped him cure his leg injury. In a recent interview, actor revelaed that late action director Veeu Devgan suggested him to consume urine to fix his leg injury. The actor revealed he followed it for 15 days and the healing left the doctor surprised.
In an interview with The Lallantop, Paresh Rawal revealed how consuming his own urine fixed his leg injury. "Veeru Devgan had come to visit when I was in Nanavati (hospital). When he got to know I was there, he came up to me and asked what happened to me? I told him about my leg injury."
Veeru Devgan offered him a solution and asked him to follow through. "He told me to drink my own urine first thing in the morning. All fighters do this. You will never face any problem, just drink urine first thing in the morning. He told me not to consume alcohol, which I had stopped, mutton or tobacco. He told me to eat regular food and urine in the morning."

He further said, "I thought if I have to drink urine, I will not just gulp it down. I will sip it like a beer cause if I have to follow through I will do it properly. I did for 15 days and when the X-ray reports came in the doctor was surprised. He saw a white lining on the injury indicating it is healed. So what would have taken 2-2.5 months to heal, was healed in a month and a half. This miracle happened."
Veeru Devgan was a noted action choreographer, director who contributed to more than 200 films. He is also the father of actor Ajay Devgn.
The actor was last seen in the film Past Tense directed by Ananth Mahadevan. For the film, he shared screen with his son Aditya. He is currently shooting for Priyadarshan's Bhoot Bangla that has Akshay Kumar and Tabu as his co-stars. He will soon start filming for Hera Pheri 3 as well. The film reunites him with Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty.
