"She loves to spend her life away from public sight," the actress stated after walking the ramp at a fashion show in Kolkata.
Since 1979, Suchitra Sen has not appeared in public, earning her the sobriquet 'India's Greta Garbo'.
She even reportedly refused to accept the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2005 as she preferred to stay out of the public eye!
