Actors often rely on grand gestures to convey emotion, but sometimes the quietest moments leave the deepest impact. Saiee M Manjrekar discovered just that while filming her upcoming romantic horror drama, Ikaai, headlined by Raghav Juyal. "Ikaai has been one of the most challenging films I've worked on till date," says Manjrekar, adding that the film "emotionally and psychologically demanded a lot from me". The actor admits that the project frequently pushed her out of her comfort zone. While the process proved "exhausting at times", it also brought immense creative satisfaction. "Those experiences helped me grow as a performer. I learned that sometimes silence, vulnerability, and emotional stillness can be far more powerful than dramatic expression. The film constantly keeps the characters emotionally exposed, and that honesty makes the horror feel real," she adds.
