When Salman Khan shares something on social media, you know it's going to be buzzing and send the internet into a frenzy. Amid the Mumbai rains and the pleasant weather, Salman has delighted fans by sharing his pictures on social media. Just two pictures featuring his swag and chiselled body, and one powerful caption have got the internet talking once again.
On Tuesday, Salman took to social media to drop stunning pictures of himself relaxing in the weather, sitting by the mountains. He simply captioned, "MAATRUBHUMI", drawing a reference to his upcoming film and the picturesque landscape of his motherland behind him.
He is seen dressed in a black sleeveless vest, paired with ripped light blue jeans and a rugged cowboy hat. He looked relaxed as he sat on a chair in the middle of lush green hills wrapped in misty clouds In one of the picture, he's seated with his head slightly lowered as he rests his hand near his face as if lost in thought.
Meanwhile, the other picture shows him leaning back in the chair with closed eyes, as he soaks in the cool breeze and peaceful weather. The cloudy sky, the green mountains and the natural landscape give the photos a cinematic feel.
But what caught the eye of the fans was his biceps. His sleeveless vest exposed his ripped arms. Fans were impressed by the fitness of the 59-year-old star.
Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace has been generating interest ever since its first look was unveiled. Produced by Salma Khan under the Salman Khan Films banner and helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace is believed to be a hard-hitting story of bravery, sacrifice and resilience. The film also stars Chitrangada Singh in a pivotal role.
Recently, the film also found itself at the centre of rumours over its certification. Reports surfaced claiming that the film had run into issues with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). However, Salman Khan Films dismissed those rumours.
They shared an official statement on July 4, in which the production house clarified, "Any claims suggesting that Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace has encountered issues with the CBFC or that its certification has been put on hold are false. The film has not yet been submitted to the CBFC for certification. Therefore, such reports are entirely baseless. We request that media outlets and individuals refrain from circulating unverified information. Any official updates regarding the film will be shared by Salman Khan Films through its official channels only."
