Salman Khan's jail days will now be the subject of a film. Titled Qaidi No 210, the film will track the time Salman spent in Jodhpur Central Jail for killing the endangered black bucks. And the producer Ranjit Sharma has roped in the very man who shared Salman's cell to help in the film's research. Mahesh Saini, a murder suspect, had spent three days with Salman in Jodhpur Central Jail in 1996. The duo had bonded very well and now Mahesh will help Ranjit lend authenticity to the film.

Mahesh fully believes in Salman's innocence. He says Salman would want coffee every hour in the jail and mainly subsisted on the chocolates Sohail had given. The two managed to sneak in dumbbells so Salman could exercise and even played carrom. Many of these details may be included in the film. Veteran cricketer Sandip Patil's son Chirag will play Salman.

According to Mahesh, Salman had promised him a job when he gets out. He hopes Salman will keep his word.
