After recording an aarti for Goddess Durga for his upcoming film Bhoomi, Sanjay Dutt has now rendered his voice to a Ganpati aarti. "It will be a part of the film. Earlier, Sachin-Jigar were to compose it, but now a fresh music director has been roped in. The aarti will feature Dutt's baritone voice. It will release as a separate track on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi," says a source.

Dutt recorded the aarti in Mumbai yesterday. The insider adds, "The aarti didn't go with the film's narrative, but being a devotee of Lord Ganesha, Dutt insisted on adding it to the film's soundtrack. Since the film releases a few weeks after Ganesh Chaturthi [September 22], the makers agreed."
