Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's spokesperson has quashed reports surrounding the remuneration of 'Padmavati' lead stars, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.

There have been reports that Deepika is getting Rs 11 crore, much higher than her co-star and rumoured boyfriend, for the upcoming period drama.
"The reports surrounding the starcast remuneration for 'Padmavati' are completely false. The rumors are baseless and the figures are being blown out of proportion," a spokesperson of Bhansali said in a statement.
'Padmavati' will bring Deepika and Ranveer together again for the third time after 'Ram Leela' and 'Bajirao Mastani'.
Actor Shahid Kapoor will reportedly be seen in a prominent role in the film.
The movie is about ruler Alauddin Khilji's obsession with Mewar queen Padmavati.
